Enjoying unique features, exquisite views and service, the four London Suites bridge the gap between the penthouses and the other suites. A fireplace is lit throughout the day and the temperature is a comfortable 23’C. Although there are no windows in this lounge, the interior design is such that I didn’t really notice the lack of natural light. One unusual thing about the lounge is the slight rumble of tube trains passing below from time to time, serving to remind guests that they’re in the heart of London. The Executive Suites boast delicate foliage patterns with rich golden leaves, taking cues from autumn in Hyde Park. It felt homely, more like an apartment than a hotel room, partially due to its size but also to the light provided by the suite’s large windows and the comparatively quietness of the bedroom. We were only here for a night, checked in fairly late, ordered room serice which came within 30mins.
